athleen Leahy passed away peacefully on April 24, 2024. Born Kathleen Julianne Dougherty on April 23, 1932, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Bill and Kathryn Dougherty, she was the eldest of three sisters. She was the valedictorian and class president of The Baltimore Catholic High School Class of 1950. Shortly after, she met her late husband, Ronald Leahy, graduated from the Bard Avon Business School, and began her career at Baltimore Gas and Electric. Her warm smile and hearty laugh permeated her 92 full years of life. In her final years, Kathleen was loved and cared for by many special friends and caregivers. Her family is incredibly grateful for Lori LaRussa, Jo Ann Edwards, and Dr. Matthew Malta. Kathleen is survived by her beloved children Kathy Lyon (Ray), Ron Leahy Jr. (Ann), Maureen Aarons (Alan), and Bill Leahy (Jackie), sister Jeanne Fitzsimmons, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
