RANK L. D’AGOSTINO Devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather passed away in his home on May 26, 2014, surrounded by family. Born on March 8, 1928, Hammonton, New Jersey, the youngest of five siblings. Frank retired from the USAF in 1969. His service began by flying in the Berlin Airlift as a communication specialist and ended at the Pentagon. In 1990 he retired as Manager of Special Relations, ITT World Communications, Washington, DC, which included serving as telecommunications advisor to the White House, assisting the Presidential Advance Teams and White House Press Corps for International trips during the Nixon, Ford, Carter and Reagan Administrations. Frank was honored to serve as a communication advisor and member of the official delegation for Pope John Paul II during Papal visits to U.S., Manila, Guam and Tokyo. He served his community for years as an active member of the Lions Club and his church. Frank found great joy in coaching Pop Warner and CYO football teams, attending his grandchildren’s school events and games, and 35 years of tee times with his golf buddies. He is survived by his wife, Cindy; three daughters Craiglyn, Dawn and Gail; son-in-law, Martin; grandchildren, Alison, Megan, Kevin, Jack and Sydney; and his beloved brother, John. His immediate family will gather in mourning at a private service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his name to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, St. Mary’s Church, 109 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, MD 21401.
