Ada Bauman - Obituary

da Irene Bauman 73, of Churchton, Maryland, died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012, following a long illness with Alzheimer's. The family will accept visitations at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, 4 Wallace Manor Road, Edgewater from 5:00 until 6:30 PM Tuesday evening, December 18th. Mrs. Bauman was born June 6, 1939, in Harrisburg, PA, a daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth Miller. She was one of eight children, and has four surviving siblings; Herb, Pat, Andy, and Bob Miller. Ada graduated from Purchase Line High School in Commodore, PA , in 1957. She loved to read, and spent many evenings with a book. However, the majority of her non working time was spent with her grandchildren. Surviving are William A. Bauman, her husband of 50 years; four children: Michael Bryant, of Crownsville, MD, Suzanne Bauman of Churchton, MD, Wayne Bauman and his wife, Belinda of Westminster, MD, and Bruce Bauman and his wife, Sandie of Shadyside, MD; eight grand children: Douglas and Patrick Bryant, Grace Ryan, Helen, Caleb, and Jeremiah Bauman, Amber Fisher, Dawn Turner; and four great grand children: Avery Ryan, Alexa Fisher, Kamryn and Taylor Turner.
