Adam Frederick MacAdam - Obituary

dam F. “Fred” MacAdam II was taken from this life on Dec. 29, 2018 when he was killed by an assailant in his yard. He is survived by his siblings: B. Diane (Richard) Landon; Ruthanne (Tu’i) Foukimoana; Mary MacAdam; Philip (Barbara) MacAdam; Ron MacAdam; Cousins Cyndi (Larry) Powell, Debbie (Andy) Reisner, Harold Elrod; and numerous other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Fred was a caring and good person who was always willing to aid anyone in need, whether friend or stranger. He spent his life in service: 12 years as a Captain in the Marines, after which he was a Financial Services Advisor, and was actively involved in and served on the Board of Directors for several local charities. He was active member of Sharon Masonic Lodge, Mc Lean Va. He will be sorely missed. “The souls of the Just are in the hand of God and no hurt or harm can touch them. To the eye of the unbeliever they appear dead. But they are live.” The remains were cremated and will be buried in Arlington National Cemetery at a future date.
