dolphus Hunter, Jr., a lifelong resident of Washington, DC, passed away on December 24, 2010. He was born in Winston-Salem, NC and graduated from Winston-Salem State University. Later, he moved to Washington, DC and worked as an educator in DC Public School system for 31 years. He received a MA from Antioch College. Adolphus also worked for the DC Department of Parks and Recreation. He is survived by his daughter, Kiawanta Hunter-Keiser, a brother, and three sisters. A memorial service for Mr. Hunter will be held at GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd. Oxon Hill, MD on Saturday, February 12 at 6PM.
