Agnes Neeley - Obituary

gnes Frances Neeley,74, a 32-year resident of Deale and formerly of Edgewater, died at her home on July 19, 2010. Born April 23, 1936, Fran was a lifetime Maryland resident who worked for the Department of the Navy for 37 years until her retirement in 1992. She was a member of the Friendship Community Baptist Church in Dunkirk and American Legion Post 226 Ladies Auxiliary in Edgewater, and a former member of the South County Deale Moose Lodge. Fran was an avid card player and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Fran is survived by her husband of 27 years, Bobby G. Neeley, five sons: Donald E. Lee of Denton, MD, Gary Lee, Michael Lee, and William H. Lee, all of Edgewater and Douglas Neeley of Woodbine, MD; two daughters, Theresa A. Curran of Edgewater and Cheryl Neeley Miller of Dundalk, MD. Also survived by 22 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She is predeceased by her son, David Francis Lee. Friends are invited to Fran's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD 21037 on Thursday, July 22, from 5 until 8pm where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 11am. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frances' memory to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
