n February 3, 2012, Alexis Rae Spradling died of a long-term disability at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. Born December 4, 2001 in Annapolis, Alexis lived in Edgewater her entire life. She attended Central Special School in Edgewater. She loved spending summers on the boat with her family, going on family vacations, attending school and giving hugs and kisses.
Alexis is survived by her parents, Brent and Julia (Geisenheimer) Spradling of Edgewater; three sisters, Tara Smith of Fredericksburg, VA, Tori Spradling of Glen Burnie and Jennalee Spradling of Severn; a niece, Nachelle Smith; a nephew, Christopher Douglas Smith; her grandparents, John Geisenheimer, Sr. and the late Helen Geisenheimer of Maple Shade, NJ and Eileen and the late Dan Spradling of Middletown, OH.
Friends are invited to Alexis’ Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home on Thursday, February 9 from 2-4 and 6-8PM where a funeral ceremony will be held at 8PM. Interment is private.
