Alice V. Farrell - Obituary

lice Shirley Vandewalker Farrell was born on September 6, 1921 to Lewis Stanley and Marion Vandewalker in Washington, DC. She and her younger brother, Lewis grew up in Lakeland, Florida. Alice was preceded in death by her children John (Bub) Rooney and Karen Rooney Gibson. She is survived by her daughter, Teresa Farrell, grandsons Nevin Daniel and David Gibson, and great-grandchildren Daniel, Benjamin and Dylan Gibson of Granville, Ohio. Relatives and friends are invited to Alice's Celebration of Life on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Forest Heights Baptist Church, 6371 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, Maryland 20745 from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Rd., Clinton, MD.
