Allan James Stevenson - Obituary

llan James Stevenson, born on September 21, 2015 and age 2 years and 5 months, passed away peacefully at his home on March 3, 2018. After struggling with Tay Sach’s disease, he went home to heaven rejoicing. Allan is the son of Scott and Teresa Stevenson of Lothian, Maryland. He is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Mary Saunders. He is survived by his “GrandDad" Carl and his “ Grammie" Vickie Stevenson of Harwood, Maryland, and grandfather “PopPop” Al Saunders of Leonardtown, Maryland. He is also survived by his Auntie Anne Saunders of Leonardtown, Maryland, and his Uncle Joe and Aunt Lisa Saunders (also his godparents) and his cousins Sawyer and Grady Saunders of Ridgely, Maryland. During his brief visit on earth, he enjoyed playing with balloons, listening to music, supervising his Daddy with home improvements, taking walks with his Mommy outside, and being held close by his friends and family. He was loved by all who met him and will be greatly missed. Friends are invited to celebrate Allan's life with his family on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 4 p.m. until his funeral service begins at 6 p.m. at the Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. In lieu of flowers, you are encouraged to bring a new, unused small book or toy to the funeral home to benefit children being treated at the Anne Arundel Medical Center. "Allan's Toy Room" will be open at the funeral home to accept donations from now through Tuesday evening.
