Allen Clem, III - Obituary

esley Allen Clem, III, 82, a 40+ year resident of Hyattsville, Maryland passed away on May 11, 2025 at Anne Arundel Medical Center from Pneumonia. Born on June 14, 1942 in Washington, DC to the late Wesley Allen Clem Jr. and Esther (Hayes) Clem, Wesley graduated high school before establishing a 38-year career at Shoppers Food Warehouse. He was a parishioner of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Greenbelt, MD. Wesley was interested in cars and lighthouses, and enjoyed listening to music and spending time with his family and loved ones. In addition to his parents, Wesley was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Judith K. Clem. He is survived by his children, Heather (Richard) Huff of Mechanicsville, MD., Gregory (Diana) Clem of Edgewater, Andy (Marlene) Amaya of Great Mills, his sister, Terri Collins of Ashburn, VA; and his grandchildren, Rebecca Reaume (RP, Robert and Lauren), Katie Clem, Natalie Huff, Nikki Clem, Christie Clem, Jacob Soliz-Amaya, Isabella Amaya and Kimberly Amaya. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Wesley’s life on Monday, May 19 at 10 am at Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD.
