Alma Z. White - Obituary

lma White, 87, a resident of Annapolis and formerly of Leisure World, died on Tuesday, July 19 at her residence. Born on January 27, 1929 in Washington, D.C. , Alma was raised by her step-parents, the late Vincent and Angela Marascio. She graduated from St. Joseph's Elementary School and St. Patrick's High School and was a secretary with the federal government working in the Department of Health, Education and Welfare. Alma was preceded in death by her husband, James P. White on June 8, 1987. They were married on December 9, 1951. Friends are invited to celebrate Alma's life on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, July 26 at 11am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Silver Spring, MD. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
