Amelia Ann Domenick - Obituary

melia Ann Domenick, 85, of Edgewater, MD, and previously of Columbia, MD, passed away on Thursday, January 22, in Annapolis, MD. Born on May 24, 1940, in Altoona, PA, to the late Francis and Madeline Domenick, Amelia graduated from Bishop Guilfoyle High School. Following graduation, Amelia had a successful career as a secretary for the Federal Government. Outside of work, Amelia enjoyed reading, cooking, and rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers. In addition to her parents, Amelia was preceded in death by her son, Bret Thompson, formerly of Deale, MD; and her siblings, Samuel, formerly of Altoona, PA, and Betty, formerly of Falls Church, VA. She is survived by her two sons; Greg Thompson of Edgewater, MD and Robert Thompson of Baltimore, MD; her daughter, Robin Heaphy of Ellicott City, MD; her sister, Veronica of Apple Valley, CA; her grandsons, Alex of Baltimore, MD, Thomas of Shady Side, MD, and Bret of Deale, MD; her granddaughters, Jessica of Ellicott City, MD, Amanda of Baltimore, MD, Erica of Wiesbaden, Germany, Kelly of Deale, MD, Hailey of Deale, MD, and Kayla of Edgewater, MD; as well as two great-grandchildren.
