Americo Sesso - Obituary

st Police Chief of the City of District Height died on Monday, January 26, 2009, the beloved husband of the late Lillian L. Sesso; father of John Sesso, Sr. and George Sesso. He is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Sesso served the City of District Heights in many capacities; he was a volunteer fireman, bailiff, the first Chief of Police and a City Commissioner. Hew was also a member of Gateway Lions Club and a former Prince George's County Deputy Sheriff. Friends may call at GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Rd. Edgewater, MD. on Tuesday, January 27 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM where services will be held on Wednesday, January 28 at 11:00AM. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
