Amor Paraoan - Obituary

n Saturday, October 19, 2024 Amor Gambalan Paraoan of Fort Washington, MD passed away peacefully and was surrounded by his loved ones. Amor was born on January 8, 1966 to the late Romeo and Nieves Paraoan; survived by his wife Ofelia Sarian Paraoan and his two children Justin S. Paraoan and Aileen P. Miller (Jeff). He was the second to the eldest of five beloved siblings, Romeo G. Paraoan (Teresa), Albert G. Paraoan (Lilet), late Joel G. Paraoan (Helen) and Maria P. French (JC). Amor was a dedicated and devoted husband, father and brother. He enjoyed and cherished spending time with his family, siblings and friends. He will forever be remembered for his words of encouragement, generosity, humor, love and strong fighting spirit. He was loved by his family and close friends for his caring heart and warm embrace he gave to others. Relatives and friends are invited to Amor's Life Celebration on Sunday, October 27, 2024 at 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the KALAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD 20745. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 11 a.m. at St. Columba Catholic Church, 7800 Livingston Rd., Oxon Hill, MD 20745. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD.
