Andrew Joseph Lee - Obituary

ndrew Joseph Lee, Sr., age 51, loving husband, father and son, and a lifelong resident of Annapolis and Edgewater , died May 17, 2021. He was born in Annapolis on July 25, 1969 and graduated from Annapolis Senior High School. He worked for the Department of Defense and was a longtime member of Weems Creek Baptist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed tree work, hunting and fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Andrew is survived by his wife of 20 years, Tina Lynn Lee; his children, Andrew J. Lee, Jr., Matthew J. Lee and Rachel K. Lee, all of Annapolis; his siblings, William Lee, Jr. of Shady Side, Jonathan Lee of Cumberland and Anna (Lee) Akers of Edgewater; and his father, William Lee, Sr. He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Jean (Dove) Lee. Family and friends are invited to share in Andrew’s life celebration on Sunday, May 23 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 24 at 11 AM at Weems Creek Baptist Church, 600 N. Bestgate Road, Annapolis, with burial to follow in Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Andrew’s memory can be made to Weems Creek Baptist Church.
