niela “Niely” Zoltak, 25, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on July 5, 2011.
Niely was born February 9, 1986 in Bloomington, IN, to Charles and Brenda Zoltak, she and her family moved to Maryland in 1988. Although Niely was born with lifelong disabilities, she lived an active and full life. She was well-known in Edgewater, often seen on walks with her parents. Niely loved parades, marching bands, flags, babies, the circus, walks, Chuck E. Cheese, therapeutic horseback riding, and watching videos. She always had a smile and a wave for everyone. She attended Edgewater and Central Elementary Schools prior to graduating from Central Special School in 2007. Upon graduation, she attended Providence Center in Arnold, MD.
Aniela was preceded in death by her grandparents, Peter and Chloe Biesik and James and Emily Zoltak; and uncle, Peter Biesik, Jr.
In addition to her parents, Niely is survived by two sisters, Teresa (Tess) and Meredith Zoltak, both of Edgewater.
Friends are invited to come and share a photo, memory, or story with her parents, sisters and friends on Friday, July 8 from 5 to 8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater.
