Ann Schatzle - Obituary

nn Schatzle, age 78, a resident of Pass Christian, MS for 33 years, died on Monday, August 9, 2010 at Sunrise of Annapolis of natural causes. Born in Peterborough, England on April 15, 1932 to the late Walter and Madge Turner, Ann was a stewardess with National Airlines for several years, then a homemaker for most of her life. She was a member of St. Paul’s Church in Pass Christian and enjoyed tennis, piano, needlepoint, Mardi Gras and being a Navy spouse. She is survived by her husband, Francis J. Schatzle, Capt., US Navy (Retired); Matthew Schatzle of Annapolis, MD, Andrew Schatzle of Alexandria, VA, Sharon Bonck of Pass Christian, MS and Clark Rushia of Hialeah, FL; her grandchildren, Claire, Jacob, Noah, Alison, Nicholas, Braden and Cooper Schatzle, Stephen, Jack and David Bonck, Victoria and Nicholas Rushia; daughters in law, Amy and Theresa Schatzle and Elisabeth Rushia; son in law Jeff Bonck. Ann was pre deceased by her brother, John Turner and her sister, Daphne Barber. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 13 at 9:00am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 109 Duke of Gloucester St., Annapolis, MD. Interment private.
