Ann Werner - Obituary

nn Dillard Werner, 91, a 5-year resident of Annapolis, MD and previously of Allentown, PA, passed away on June 12 at Somerford Place. Born October 13, 1922 in Newport News, VA, to the late Dan Selden and Annie Smith Jones, Ann worked with Avon, Inc. as District Manager. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and a volunteer at the Osteopathic Hospital in Allentown. She enjoyed dancing, travel, cooking & entertaining, and laughter! In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her former husband, Albert H. “Pop” Werner. She is survived by two sons, John Daniel and Robert Douglas Werner; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann D’Antonio and Wendy Jane Crown; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and her brother, Dan Selden Jones of Williamsburg, Va. A 'Celebration of Life' be held at 4pm on Monday, June 16 at the Kalas Funeral Home, Edgewater, MD. Burial will be held at 1pm on June 17th at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Williamsburg, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann's name to Abe’s Garden, 618 Church St., Nashville, TN 37219.
