nna Marie Simpson 68, of Naples, FL passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 12, 2007. Anna had been a resident of Naples for the past 10 years coming from Oxon Hill, MD. She was born October 24, 1938 in Dunbar, PA the only child of George W. and Helen A. (nee Maddas) Baker. She received her nursing degree and at one time worked at Walter Reed Army Hospital in the VIP wing. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Naples and a former member of St. Columba Catholic Church in Oxon Hill. In Oxon Hill, she served as the President of the Parish Council and was involved designing the new church. She is survived by her loving husband, Benjamin A. Simpson of Naples, FL; three children, Karla A. (William D., Jr.) Curry of Colesville, CA, Theresa E. (Benjamin J.) Shupe of Waterford, VA and Benjamin A. (Meredith H.) Simpson, Jr. of Springsfield, VA. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, William D. Curry, III and Christopher L. Curry of Colesville, CA.
