Anne Sillaman - Obituary

nne Haller Sillaman "Ana", 67, a resident of Riva, MD, died at her home on Sunday, January 24. She was born on October 24, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late William and Ann Haller. Anne graduated from Franklin Regional High School, and received a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Maryland University College. She retired in 2012 after a successful career as a project manager with Kelly Press and Mosaic. Anne enjoyed gardening, camping, boating, and spending time with friends and family; she especially loved her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her brother, Command Sgt. Maj. Roger W. Haller. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Sillaman, her stepchildren Christina Sheckells and Wayne Sillaman; her brothers William, John and Frederick Haller; her grandchildren Alisha and Logan Sillaman and Nicholas Bennett. Friends are invited to a viewing from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm on Thursday, January 28 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD where her funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, January 29. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 in memory of her brother, CSM Roger W. Haller.
