nnette Mary Lusby, 81, a resident of Annapolis, MD for more than 20 years, and previously of New Carrollton, MD, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016.
Born February 7, 1935 in Washington, D.C., she graduated from Eastern High School. Annette retired from the Department of Education, as an administrative assistant.
Annette was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, in Upper Marlboro, MD. She loved her church and caring for others through her lay pastoral care. She always enjoyed spending time with her family, most of all her grandson and granddaughter. She loved cooking, baking, reading, eating out, playing cards, traveling and participating in water aerobics.
Annette is survived by her husband, of 61 years, William H. Lusby; two daughters, Lori (Richard) Hamilton of Laurel, MD, Suzanne (Paul) Straub of Elkridge, MD; a sister, Joyce Kogok; two grandchildren, Evan Straub and Megan Hamilton and a host of other relatives.
Friends and family may call at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD, on Tuesday, August 30, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 14515 Church St., Upper Marlboro, MD on Wednesday, August 31 at 11am. Interment Ft. Lincoln Cemetery.
