KALAS LIFE CELEBRATION HOME, 6160 OXON HILL RD., OXON HILL, MD. Anthony Ray Langley was born on October 6th, 1967 to Delois Langley and the late Heyward Bowers in Pitt County, North Carolina. Anthony, also known as “Tony” attended school in North Carolina where he received his diploma in 1984. He departed his life on November 22, 2007. Tony relocated to Washington D.C. in 1984. He worked a few odd jobs until he learned the carpentry trade. He began installing carpet for All Star. He later went on to owning and operating his carpet business, Anthony's Professional Floor Service. At the tine of his passing he was working for Dryers Ice Cream (he especially enjoyed tasting the ice cream). Tony had many pass times that included Table Tennis, playing golf, roller skating, and most of all bowling. Tony was an extremely accomplished bowler and received many accolades. One of his proudest moments was when he bowled his first 300 game at AMF in Temple Hills, MD on lane one. Tony enjoyed traveling to different places such as Las Vegas to compete in tournaments. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his son and nieces going to the movies, skating, out to eat and anything else they could think of at the time. He leaves to cherish his beloved son Anthony Myers, grandmother Leather Langley and mother Delois Langley, two brothers Von Derick Langley and Adoulf Williams, four sisters Rosalyn Dandy, Sylvia Atwater, Tabitha Rhodes, and Antionette Bowers and a host of family and friends.
