nthony J. Rossello, 78, of Annapolis, died April 20.
He was born June 22, 1931, in New York, N.Y.
Anthony served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1963. He worked as an electrician for 50 years, retiring in 1995, and moved to Annapolis in 1996.
He was well known for making people laugh, and enjoyed bowling, playing poker, bridge, and listening to Frank Sinatra. He was a member of St. Mary's, Annapolis.
He was preceded in death by his son, John Rossello, who died in 1971.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Adele Rossello, whom he married Sept. 26, 1953; daughter, Diane Rossello of Edgewater; two sons, Joseph Rossello of Greenwich, Conn., and Anthony Rossello of New York, N.Y., six granddaughters and one grandson.
Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 25 at Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Road in Edgewater. Funeral mass will be held at 9 a.m. Monday, April 26 at St John Neumann Roman Catholic Church, Annapolis. Interment will follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville.
