Anton Auth - Obituary

nton N. “Tony” Auth of Annapolis, MD died on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Born on January 8, 1934 in Takoma Park, MD to the late Anton F. and Helen Newell Auth. Tony was a member of the U. S. Air Force based at Andrews. He was president of Auth Bros. Meat Company of Washington, D.C., a family owned wholesale food service company. Tony is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Auth; his children, Andrea (Charles) Porciello, Anton N. (Claudia) Auth, Jr., Michelle (Douglas) Vaughters and Christopher (Hilary) Auth; his sisters, Bertha Maguire and Elizabeth Brown and eleven grandchildren. Friends may call from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7pm on Sunday at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30am on Monday, March 23 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Annapolis, MD. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Silver Spring, MD will be private.
