Antonia A. Monteforte - Obituary

n Tuesday, April 5, 2022; the beloved daughter of the late Angelo and Nunzia Monteforte; sister of Agata Zimini and the late Pietro Monteforte; sister-in-law of Mercedes Monteforte and the late Girolamo Zimini; aunt of Nancy Zimini-Varva, Rosemary Crawford, Nancy Ciccarello, Antonia VonDiezelski, Angie Hazen, Pietro A. Zimini and the late Girolamo Zimini, Jr. She is also survived by her great-nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Antonia's Life Celebration at the KALAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD on Monday, April 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. A second viewing will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 595 Third St., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20001 on Tuesday, April 12 from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30am. Directly following will be the Mass of Christian Burial from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30am. The Entombment will be held at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Feeding America
