Arden Redmond - Obituary

rden Dunkle Redmond of Ft. Washington, MD, died May 21, 2010 at the Washington Hospital Center. She is the beloved mother of Ann M. Redmond (Ron), Daniel S. Redmond (Kate) and William B. Redmond. She leaves behind nine much loved grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Arden was born in Wilkinsburg, PA and received nursing degrees from the Universities of Rochester and Pittsburgh. She was a dedicated US Air Force wife who volunteered thousands of hours in nursing and social services, as well as a retired nurse from St. Elizabeth Hospital in Washington, DC. Services and interment are private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Washington National Cathedral (http://www.nationalcathedral.org/ ) or the Lupus Foundation of America (www.lupus.org ).
