Arthur "Artie" M. Campli - Obituary

rthur "Artie" Campli, 64, a 15-year resident of Chesapeake Beach, MD and previously of Dunkirk, MD, died on Saturday, July 1, 2023, of lung cancer at Anne Arundel Medical Center following a brief illness. Born May 20, 1959 at Sibley Hospital to the late Arthur and Martha Campli, he worked as a master electrician with Mona Electric. Artie honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Local I.B.E.W. 26, and St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Upper Marlboro, MD. Artie enjoyed cars and motorcycles. He is survived by his partner, Kathy Katz; a son, Brandon Campli of Elkridge, MD; a stepdaughter, Kirra Orescan of Baltimore, MD; and a sister, Donna DeCesaris of Annapolis, MD. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Artie's life on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 10 am until a mass of Christian Burial is offered at 11 am at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 14908 Main Street, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.
