rthur Reginal Edmonds was born August 9, 1949 to the late Floyd and Gloria Edmonds. As a young boy he loved sports, his favorites were basketball, football and baseball. He continued his love of sports as an adult – playing with local teams and won numerous trophies in basketball and football. He was a die-hard Redskins and Wizards fan. On September 26, 1970 he married the love of his life, Rosemary Proctor, from the union came Andre [deceased], Yvette [Miguel], Carissa [Dwight] , Iysha and daughter LaToya [Derrick]. He worked for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority and the Prince Georges County School Board as a bus driver. He had a knack for driving. Dino would often acted as a cab driver for family and friends. After he retired he worked part time as a security guard for the Constitution Hall. "Dino" or "Mr Art" as he was affectionately known to family and friends attended Lincoln Elementary and completed his education at Fairmont High School. Dino was a friend, brother, adviser, teacher and clown to those who knew him. He loved oldies, dancing, playing spades and just having a good time. He read the daily newspaper from front to back. He could talk to anyone about any subject matter. He loved laughter and gave it to anyone that wanted to share in with him. A good man has left a hole in our hearts that only God can heal. We will remember him forever in our hearts and through the memories that we share. He leaves to cherish loving memories his wife Rosemary, their four children Andre [deceased], Yvette , Carissa, Iysha and daughter LaToya. His grandchildren: Jaciere, Treyvon, Tiarra, Isaiah, Christopher and Brianna. His siblings: James [Joyce], Floyd [Regina],Gloria, Katie [William], George, Bill, Lana [Rick], Jerry [Jane] Gregory [Sandra], Kenny [Janet], Tonya, and Karen [deceased] with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Preceding him in death were his parent Floyd and Gloria Edmonds, his brother Raymond, his son Andre and sister Karen. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 10 a.m. at International Church of Christ, 7701 Preston Drive, Landover, MD 20785
