Arthur M. Hollenbeck - Obituary

rthur “Art” Hollenbeck, 69, passed away peacefully at Anne Arundel Medical Center on October 10, 2022. He was born on November 17, 1952 in Washington, DC to the late George and Virginia Hollenbeck. Art honorably served our country in the U.S. Navy and received the National Defense Service Medal. After his discharge from the Navy, Art had a flourishing career as a handyman in Annapolis and Edgewater. In recent years, he enjoyed spending time with his daughter, Emily and his Irish Setter, Dash. He could often be found at the Amish Market or at one of Washington, DC’s many museums. Art is survived by his daughter, Emily L. Hollenbeck of Annapolis. He was predeceased by his father, George T. Hollenbeck, and his mother, Virginia E. Newsome. A celebration of life will be arranged in the months to come. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Art’s name to Hero Dogs of Brookeville, P.O.
