Arthur Lederle - Obituary

rthur “Art” Lederle, 77, a 35 year resident of Arnold, died February 15 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Born on September 17, 1935 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Commander (Ret.) Arthur W. and Catherine Lederle. Art attended the Citadel and was drafted into the Army in 1958. After leaving the military, Art was employed by NSA where he worked as a classified programmer until his retirement in 1995. Art loved boating, Naval Academy athletics and his dog Maxwell. He was predeceased by his son Michael Thomas. Art is survived by his brother Albert and his wife June of Wilmington, NC a niece Catherine of Richmond, VA her son Corbin and a nephew Arthur W. and his wife Ellen of Springfield, VA and their two sons Alan and Alex. Friends are invited to Art’s Memorial Service on Thursday the 21st at 11 AM at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater.
