Ashley Gale White - Obituary

n April 16th, 2022 our loving and giving Ashley passed from this life. She graduated from hospice not once but twice during her long battle with a brain tumor. This strong and funny 20 year old persevered for 15 years through many treatments while still being an inspiration to so many. Ashley used every moment of her brief time on earth, attending Broadneck High School where she played bowling & bocce, Crosspointe Church with her loving church family, and even authoring a book “White’s Friends “with her amazing teacher and friend Julie Sauer. She loved to hold hands with her friends, classmates and her family and had hugs for all who needed one. Ashley (also known as Bug-a-Boo) leaves behind a world of love and joy, as well as her sisters Mikki and Artemis and her brother Raistlin. She will be sorely missed by her many loving grandparents, mom Bethany, stepdad Joe and her dad Cody as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family. She profoundly impacted the lives of family and friends and the many dedicated caregivers in her life. Special thanks to her fabulous school nurses, home nurses and the Oncology Team at Children’s National Hospital. Ashley - we know you are singing in the Angels’ Choir. We can hear you!
