Athena Talios - Obituary

thena "Tina" Talios, 76, of Annapolis and previously of Richmond, Va., died Dec. 24 in her home after a seven-month illness. Mrs. Talios was born in Washington, D.C., and graduated from high school there. She travelled to Germany, Greece and Taiwan with her husband, who was in the military, along with their Children. Survivors include her husband of 56 years, George Talios;one daughter, Alexandra (Peter) Stetler of St. Mary's, GA.; one son, Nicholas (Diana) Talios of Annapolis; one brother, George Stathopoulos of Silver Spring; three sisters, Betty Christ of Alameda, Calif., Thelma Yeonas of McLean, Va., and Pauline Ellis of St. Louis, Mo.; and four grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to Athena's Life Celebration at THE GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Rd. Edgewater, MD on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 4 at 12:00 P.M. at Ss. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2747 Riva Rd., Annapolis, MD 21401. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at 3:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Ss. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church.
