Barbara Birk - Obituary

arbara Ann Birk, age 65, a 30 year resident of Annapolis died on Wednesday April 15, 2009 at the Washington Hospital Ctr. In Washington, D.C. of natural causes. Barbara was born on Sept. 26, 1943 in Washington, D.C. and was a graduate of Suitland High School. She attended Strayer Business School in D.C. Barbara was a member of American Legion Post 226 Mayo, MD Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by her sister, Carol Birk Spradlin of Annapolis, MD. Two nephews, Joseph R. and Shane M. Spradlin and her great nephew, Maxwell Lincoln Spradlin and her great niece, Susannah Mary Spradlin. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 18 at 10:00 AM at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Interment private.
