arbara Lee Grover Feddon, 77, of Huntingtown, MD formerly of Murrells Inlet, SC and Clinton, MD departed June 28, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Born August 13, 1943 in Leonardtown, MD. She was married to the love of her life, Thomas F. Feddon, Jr. who passed in February of this year. Daughter of the late Earl Alexander Grover and Mary Agnes (Boothe) Grover. Predeceased by one sister, Caroline E. (Grover) Cummings. She is survived by their children, Michael C. (Amy) Feddon of Martinsburg, WV, David (Diane) Feddon of St. Pete Beach, FL, Brenda (Andy) Gibbs Sr. of Huntingtown, MD and Joseph (Michelle) Feddon of St. Petersburg, FL. Grandchildren, Jesse (Katie) Feddon, Ariel (Kevin) Feddon, Caleb (Melissa) Wilkerson, Teagan Hunt, Zachary (Shelby) Tyrrell, Joshua (Kristen) Tyrrell, Katelyn (Austin) Gibbs, Andrew Gibbs Jr., Benjamin Gibbs, and Tanner (Kylee) Moody. Survived by eight great grandchildren. Survived by one sister, Mary Ann (Grover) Siniscalchi. Also survived by two nieces, Veronica (Bill) Atkinson and Yvonne (Brian) Cummings. In the early years of her marriage, she worked for the Census Bureau, but chose to stay home and raise her children. She was an active member of St. John’s in Clinton having helped run the annual rummage sale and volunteering in the elementary school as a teacher’s aide. She also ran the used book sale at McNamara High School. For over 40 years she belonged to the women’s Lunch Bunch Group from church, having stayed in contact even after her move. When her children were older, she worked in the Accounting Department at Southern MD Hospital in Clinton. During this time and for many years she was part of a beloved camping group who took many annual trips together and was a member of a weekly bowling league. After moving to the Live Oaks Community in Murrells Inlet, SC where she lived with her husband until his death, she was active on their board, having served as activity coordinator for the entire 18 years they lived there and as secretary for 15 of those years. She was an active member of St. Michael’s in Murrells Inlet, SC where she helped with the Food Bank. She was also a volunteer for the Waccamaw Hospital for years. She enjoyed her weekly bingo and domino nights with the community women and an occasional lunch out with them too. She was a talented seamstress and an outstanding decorative tole painter. She belonged to the Painted Ladies group for over 40 years and was a past president of the Southern MD Decorative Painting Group. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 8th at Kalas Funeral Home at 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD 20745 from 6-8 pm with prayer service at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, July 9th at 11 am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at 8908 Old Branch Ave., Clinton, MD 20735. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Rd., Clinton, MD 20735. Pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons.
