Barbara Higgins - Obituary

HIGGIN'S VIDEO TRIBUTE* Barbara "Bobbie" Higgins, 74, a resident of Edgewater for 37 years, died of complications due to a stroke Jan. 1 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a brief illness. Mrs. Higgins was born April 8, 1933. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Post 226 in Mayo. Mrs. Higgins was a homemaker for most of her life, and enjoyed feeding ducks and birds, fishing, gardening and boating. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Brady Higgins; and one brother, Johnny Kuper. Survivors include one son, Kevin Higgins of Edgewater; one daughter, Kim D. Fantozzi of Owings; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Family and friends may visit from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Kalas Funeral home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lakemont Memorial Gardens in Davidsonville
