Barbara McCully - Obituary

arbara Norfolk McCully Barbara N. McCully, a 33 year resident of Davidsonville, MD and previously of Hyattsville, MD, died at her home on Saturday November 22, after a 3 year battle with lymphoma. She was 75. Born March 22, 1933 in Seat Pleasant, MD to Leslie and Edna Norfolk, she attended high school in Prince Georges County. Barbara retired from M&M Fleet Maintenance Service which she was a part owner with her husband John. Barbara was a devoted wife and grandmother. She enjoyed being a homemaker and travelling with her family in her motor home. Barbara is survived by her husband John R. McCully, whom she married in 1957, her daughter Leslie Edinberg of Annapolis, her sisters Marjorie Daniels and Edna Lauck, both of Annapolis. She was predeceased by her sisters, Vivian Ballard and Margaret Brown. Also survived by her granddaughters, Kate Rose of Ocean City, MD and Kelly Rose of Annapolis, MD. Friends may call at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Tuesday November 25 from 2-4 & 6-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday November 26 at 1pm at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
