Barbara Miller - Obituary

arbara Jean Miller (Bobbie)(Age 79) Passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at her home in Scottsdale, AZ. Bobbie was born in Washington, D.C. on April 25, 1933. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Bobbie worked for several years for the State of Maryland but her real work was raising her five children. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Elton W. Miller, her children; Michael Miller, Cheryl Nelson (Tom), Debbie Waln, Bill Miller (Mary Ann), and Terry Miller, five grandchildren; Heather, David, Christina, Ashley and Matthew. She is also survived by her twin brothers William and Thomas Staples as well as daughters in law Carol Jean Miller and Jeannie Miller. Bobbie fought a long and courageous battle with cancer and is now at peace with God. Friends may call on Monday, June 25, 2012 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD, where funeral services will be held on June 26th, 2012 at 11:30am. Burial immediately following at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, Davidsonville. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in memory of Barbara Miller to Hospice of the Valley, 5111 N.
