Barbara Louise Scott - Obituary

arbara Kogok Scott died on February 1, 2018 at Ginger Cove in Annapolis. She was 88 years old. Barbara was born on July 5, 1929 in Anacostia, DC to the late Norman and Mary Elizabeth Kogok. She was known for her generous spirit and love for her family. She was an accomplished homemaker who enjoyed reading, sewing and bridge. In addition to her parents Barbara was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Woodston Scott whom she was married to for 60 years; and a brother Louis Kogok. She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Blaise) Keen of Dowell, MD and Bryan (Laura) Scott of Queenstown, MD; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Joan Murphy and Carol Hoffman. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Ginger Cove, 4000 River Crescent Drive, Annapolis, MD.
