Barry Silverman - Obituary

arry Silverman, 72, of Annapolis, formerly of Centreville, MD, passed away on February 19, 2015, at George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C. Barry retired from Bell Atlantic after 39 years and was currently working at DC-Net in Washington D.C. for the last 15 years. Barry had a great sense of humor, enjoyed playing golf, trips to England and Ireland, dining out, and playing with his grandson. Barry will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, June Silverman, of Annapolis; his daughter, Maria Heaton (Tom), of Annapolis; his sister, Margo Donithan (Jack), of Annapolis; his dearly loved grandson, Sam Heaton, of Annapolis; and many relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 8 at 1 p.m. at George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Barry's memory may be made to the American Heart Association , 217 E. Redwood St., 23rd Floor, Baltimore, MD 21201. -
