Beatrice Malorey - Obituary

eatrice Elaine Remsen Malory, 89, of Silver Spring, died Nov. 7 from heart complications at Mandrin Chesapeake Hospice House in Harwood. Mrs. Malorey was born on Nov. 22, 1917, in Washington, D.C., to the late John and Lucinda Kern. She was a homemaker, who, at one time, worked as a receptionist in a beauty salon. She was a former member of the Silver Spring Junior Women's Club and enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She was the widow of George Malorey and Peter Remsen Jr. She is survived by two sons, Peter Remsen of Edgewater and Donald Remsen of Silver Spring; one grandchild; and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Dec. 1 at Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater.
