Benjamin Barber - Obituary

enjamin David "Ben" Barber, 35, a lifelong resident of Davidsonville, died March 17 at his home. Born Sept. 28, 1974, to Robert W. Barber Sr. of Davidsonville and the late Paula E. Barber, he graduated from South River High School in 1993. He worked for the past 17 years as an HVAC technician. Known for his great sense of humor, Ben loved spending time with his family, loved music, playing the drums, watching movies and enjoyed spending time at the beach, especially in Ocean City. He was a member of All Hallows Episcopal Church and the Annapolis Moose Lodge #296. In addition to his father, Ben is survived by his wife, Katherine Barber, whom he married in 2009; four brothers, Robert Barber Jr. and David Barber, both of Lothian, Paul Barber of Tampa, Fla., and William Barber of Edgewater; and a sister, Robin Barber of Davidsonville. Services and interment are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association , P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216.
