Bernard Leo Crawford - Obituary

ernard Leo Crawford, Sr. 95, of Ft. Washington, MD passed away on May 16, 2018. Born on August 12, 1922 in Washington D.C. to the late Burnett Crawford and Mildred Bowie. Bernard entered the United States Marine Corps and after he served, he became a Truck Driver for the Auth Brothers Company where he retired. Bernard enjoyed dancing, going to the casinos, but most of all, he enjoyed being with his family. Bernard is survived by his Wife, Joan. Children, Robin R., Bernard, Jr., Michael R., Cheryl A., Mark A., Joan B. (Enoch), and Kelli N. 9 Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, May 24, 2018 from 10 am until time of Service at 11:30 am at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, P.A. 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745. Interment will be on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623
