Bernardine F. Cook - Obituary

ernardine Cook, 89, an 11-year resident of Annapolis, MD and previously of Largo, MD, died on January 5, 2021, in Annapolis, MD. Born September 18, 1931, in Washington, DC, to the late Charles and Grace Gilroy. She worked for Tech Serv, Inc. of Beltsville, MD, Norco Pest Control of Bowie, MD and Prince George's County Schools. Bernardine enjoyed watching HGTV, Wheel of Fortune, listening to Alan Jackson and playing solitaire on her laptop. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years, Norman Cook. Bernardine is survived by five children, Donald (Carmen) Cook of Naples, FL, Donna Cook of Silver Spring, MD, Barry (Debbie) Cook of Edgewater, MD, Norma Cook of Dunkirk, MD, and James (Kim) Cook of Murphy, NC; 16 grandchildren, Douglas, Christine, Allison, Faith, Michael, Pam, Tracy, Ashley, Eddie, Steph, Melissa, Jaime, Kerianne, Lora, Christi, and Kelsey; 23 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
