Bernice C. Williams - Obituary

ernice C. Williams, 88, a resident of Annapolis, MD and formerly of Washington, DC, Oxon Hill, MD and Wilmington, NC, died on Tuesday, December 8 in Odenton, MD. Born on July 11, 1932 in Jacksonville, NC to the late Owen J. and Estelle Pierce, Bernice worked as a supervisor with Stone Industrial Corp. for many years. In her spare time she enjoyed bible study and being with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-two years, Francis J. Williams who died in 1978, her siblings; Raleigh Pierce of Woodbridge, VA, Zollie and Olen Pierce both of Wilmington, NC, Goldie Justice of Georgia and Ervin Pierce. Bernice is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Kathleen) Williams of Annapolis, MD and Barbara Williams Quick (Ian Quick) of Pittsboro, NC; her grandchildren, Sean Moy, Denise Moy, Jenna Williams Mathers and Eric Williams, and 9 great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to celebrate Bernice’s life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Tuesday, December 15 from 11 am until her funeral service begins at 12 Noon.
