Bette Anne Kalis - Obituary

ette Anne Kalis (Age 91) of Fort Washington, Maryland passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017. She is survived by one daughter, Caroline A. Harwell, one son-in-law, John R. Harwell, one grandson, Walter M. Harwell and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 46 years, Walter J. Kalis and granddaughter Mary Anne Harwell. Family will receive friends at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD on Monday, January 9, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 14908 Main Street, Upper Marlboro, MD on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Fr. Thomas LaHood, Celebrant. Interment on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Arlington National Cemetery. Please meet at the Administration Building at 1:15 p.m. with your own transportation.
