Betty Cady - Obituary

etty Jane Cady, 92, a 15-year resident of Arlington, Texas and previously of Forestville, MD, passed away on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at the Community Hospice of Texas at Arlington Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Betty was born on May 17, 1923 in Duluth, Minnesota to the late Fred and Ethel Hoag. She worked for the US. Dept. of Commerce Bureau of the Census where she retired in 1982. In her spare time Betty enjoyed reading. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by husband, Clement Seaton Cady in 1983. She is survived by her son, Michael George Cady of Arlington, TX; her two granddaughters Allison Marie Misener of Lancaster, California and Megan Elizabeth Cady of Winter Park, Colorado. Friends may call on Thursday, December 3 from 12 noon until a funeral service begins at 1pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Interment will follow at Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD.
