Betty Carolyn Lambert - Obituary

etty Carolyn Lambert, 92, of Waldorf, MD departed this life on February 26, 2018. Born on November 24, 1925 in Huntington, W. VA. to the late Roby Ranson and Mary Ethel Pettit, Betty was predeceased by her husband, Charles E. Lambert and 12 siblings. Betty was a long time member of Forest Heights Baptist Church. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed entertaining, especially her family, close friends, and neighbors. Betty is survived by her four children: Gary C. Lambert of Deep Creek Lake MD (Jerry), James L. Lambert of Welcome MD (Rebecca), Mary Ann Rebel of Westlake TX (Jerry), and Michael C. Lambert of Huntingtown MD (Linda). She is also survived by her brother, James Ranson of Brookville FL, ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A funeral service will take place on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 11 am at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 6160 Oxon Hill Road. Oxon Hill, MD 20745. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Charles County. 2505 Davis Road. Waldorf, MD 20603
