Betty Lyvers - Obituary

n Saturday November 22, 2014 Betty Lyvers, of Annapolis, died peacefully in her sleep surrounded by her family. Betty was born on July 5, 1928 in Annapolis to George and Margaret Hallock, and was a 1945 graduate of Annapolis High School. Betty enjoyed being with family, bowling, needlework, horseshoes and baking. Betty was preceded in death by her soul mate, Charles W. Ayers, Jr. She is survived by her 6 children, Mark (Henrietta) Lyvers of Lexington, SC, Wayne (Anna) of St. Leonard, Lane (Dannye) of Shady Side, Nona McNatt of Dover, DE, Denise (Anthony) Messineo of Annapolis, and Pam (Jeffrey) of Millersville; 13 grandchildren, Alexander Lyvers of NY, William McNatt of Columbia, Brian Messineo of Edgewater, Matthew Lyvers of Shady Side, Randy Lyvers of Shady Side, Jason Stern of Millersville, Natalie Derrrick of Lexington, SC, Timmie Hayes of Lexington, SC, J’aime Nowell of Annapolis, Amanda Courie of Ridgley, Lysa Gorgen of Annapolis, Amy Derringer of Crofton, and Jenna Stern of Millersville and 24 great-grand children. A private graveside service will be held on Friday, November 28 at Lakemont Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association Greater Maryland, 1850 York Road, Suite D, Timonium, MD 21093.
