Beverly Ray Breitman - Obituary

everly Ray Breitman, 77, a resident of Chesapeake Beach, MD for twenty years and formerly of Rockville, MD, died on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at the Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD. Born on February 28, 1941, in Pensacola, FL, Beverly received both a BS and MBA from the University of Maryland. She worked as a microbiologist at the National Institute of Health specializing in leukemia research. Beverly was a parishioner and altar guild member of St. James' Parish in Lothian, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Breitman in April 2017. Beverly is survived by two daughters, Melissa Keene Hurtt of Lothian, MD and Christina Keene Holt of Annapolis, MD; and four grandchildren, Jay Hurtt of Lothian, MD, Madeline Hurtt of Baltimore, MD, and Colin and Maureen Wick of Annapolis, MD. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 7 at 11 am at St. James' Parish, 5757 Solomons Island Rd., Lothian, MD. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hemophilia Foundation of Maryland, 13 Class Court, Parkville, MD 21234.
