Beverly Jean Lee - Obituary

everly Jean Lee, 78, a 56-year resident of Edgewater, passed away on October 10, 2017. Born on May 7, 1939, Beverly was one of 17 children of the late Joseph and Leona Dove. She enjoyed square dancing and reading the Bible, and was a member of Weems Creek Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by 12 of her siblings. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, William L. Lee, Sr., three sons, William (Kim) Lee, Jr. of Shady Side, MD, Andrew (Tina) Lee of Annapolis, MD and Jonathan Lee of Irondale, OH; one daughter, Anna (Gary) Akers of Edgewater; three brothers, Everett Dove of Davidsonville, MD, Floyd Dove of Crownsville, MD and Arthur Dove of Davidsonville; one sister, Geraldine Eschinger of Easely, SC; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to celebrate Beverly’s life with her family from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 16 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater where her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 17 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
